What is it / How does it work

Neither a filler nor mesotherapy - Profhilo is a revolutionary, highly stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) based bioremodelling product for treating wrinkles,  revitalising dull looking skin and restoring facial volume.

Profhilo contains one of the highest HA concentrations available today, stimulating 4 different types of collagen and elastin by the slow and controlled release of HA. Profhilo provides a naturally youthful look with noticeable lifting and tightening.

How is it performed

​

The treatment is very comfortable and takes only 10 minutes with two sessions 4 weeks apart. 2ml of the product is injected using a special  "Bio Aesthetic Points" technique into 5 of your chosen areas of concern on each side of the face or hands (10 total injection points). Topical anesthetic is available if requested.

The second session is highly recommended one month later for optimal results and will include a review and injection of another 2ml into 10 sites accordingly.

Maintenance sessions are recommended every 6-12 months.

Downtime

​

Minor swelling and redness is common and this will usually subside within a few hours or maximum 1 day. In order to avoid the risk of infection, you will be advised not to apply makeup or touch the treated area for at least 6 hours. Full post-treatment care advice will be provided to you by the doctor

When can I see results

​

After the second session, you will begin to see an improvement in skin elasticity, firmness and overall health. Fine lines and wrinkles will start to diminish providing a full and naturally youthful appearance to your skin.
