Hyperhidrosis Consultation

What is it / how does it work


Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating that can affect any part of the body.

When treated it can be reduced by up to 70%.
Botox ® is injected into the areas of concern, namely the underarms, but feet and hands can be treated


What can it treat


It reduces the amount of sweat that is being over produced in these areas, that causes patients

physical & emotional distress.


How is it performed

The procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes with a small

amount of botox injected into the area of concern. 


Downtime

​

There may be slight swelling and discomfort at the injection sights. 

Recommended aftercare advice:

Do not touch the area for at least 2 hours

No strenuous activity for 24 hours 

Avoid hot showers/baths for 24 hours

Avoid saunas and swimming for at least 24 hours


When can I see results

​

Results can take up to 14 days to have full effect.
